Privacy Policy
Last updated October 14, 2026
This policy describes how Traderlay (“we”, “us”) handles information when you use traderlay.com and related services (the “Service”).
1. Information we collect
We collect information you provide and information created by use of the Service:
- Account. Email address, sign-in time, and session cookies. You can sign in with Google or with a one-time code we send to your email. If you use Google, Google shares the email and name on that Google account.
- Profile. Display name, bio, photos, and public listing details you set as a trader.
- Payments. Subscription and payout records. Card details are collected and stored by Stripe, not on our servers.
- Trading activity. Positions, closed trades, and related stats that power public profiles and copy trading.
- Brokerage connection. If you connect copy trading, we store your Cursor API key in an encrypted vault so we can send trade instructions to a Cursor agent that uses your Robinhood connection. We do not receive your Robinhood password.
- Device and logs. IP address, browser type, and basic request logs used to run and secure the Service.
2. How we use information
- Create and authenticate accounts.
- Show trader profiles, history, and subscription offers.
- Process subscriptions, fees, and trader payouts through Stripe.
- Copy a trader’s orders into a subscriber’s brokerage when that subscriber has connected Cursor and Robinhood.
- Prevent fraud, debug issues, and improve the Service.
- Comply with law and enforce our Terms of Service.
3. How we share information
We share information with:
- The public. A trader’s name, bio, photos, listing price, and closed-trade history can appear on their public page. Open-position tickers are shown only to that trader’s subscribers.
- Stripe. Payments, customers, subscriptions, and Connect payouts.
- Supabase. Database, auth, and file storage that host the Service. Google sign-in is processed through Supabase Auth.
- Cursor. Your Cursor API key and trade instructions, so a cloud agent can act through Robinhood tools you connected in Cursor.
- Robinhood. Orders and account lookups happen through the Robinhood connection you authorize in Cursor, not through a Traderlay login to Robinhood.
- Infrastructure providers such as Vercel, which host the website.
- Authorities when required by law, or to protect the Service.
We do not sell your personal information.
4. Cookies
We use cookies and similar storage to keep you signed in and to operate the site. The Service is not designed to work with those cookies disabled.
5. Retention
We keep account, billing, and trading records for as long as needed to provide the Service, meet legal and tax requirements, and resolve disputes. You can disconnect brokerage access and update or delete profile photos from your account settings. To close an account and request deletion, follow Data Deletion Instructions or email support@traderlay.com from the address you sign in with.
6. Your choices
- Update profile and billing details in the Service.
- Disconnect your Cursor key in Settings to stop copy trading.
- Cancel a trader subscription from your billing or Stripe receipts.
- Ask us to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold, subject to records we must keep.
7. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
8. Security
We use encryption, access controls, and a vault for brokerage keys. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. You are responsible for the security of your email, Cursor account, and brokerage account.
9. International users
The Service is operated from the United States. If you use it from elsewhere, you understand your information may be processed in the U.S.
10. Changes
We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date will change, and continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated policy.
